Following that experience, he became an associate at a veterinary hospital in West Windsor, New Jersey, for 11 years.
Dr. Roma was inspired to further enhance his skills in veterinary medicine at AHND where he has been the owner since 2004.
Although originally inspired by the books of James Herriot, no one deserves more gratitude and credit than his parents. They have been a constant source of support and encouragement for him. He is looking forward to meeting you and getting to know your pet personally. If you have any questions or just want to say hi, feel free to call him directly or stop by the animal hospital anytime.
Dr. Sandra Kim Meadow, DVM
Every day that I work as a veterinarian, I am thankful for the opportunities that allowed me to pursue this rewarding career. I was very lucky to have parents that instilled in me a love and respect for animals. I grew up with all sorts of pets…dogs, cats, ducks, hamsters, mice, birds, a ferret, and even three pet skunks. We would take in any unwanted stray that came our way including an orphaned raccoon and a few squirrels and chipmunks. There is not a time I can remember in which we did not have animals. These early experiences taught me that all creatures, even the smallest, deserve to be treated well and with kindness.
Fortunately my husband Dru shares my passion for animals. We share our lives with our furry friends Bella (a three-legged cat), Archie (a Chihuahua-mix adopted from the shelter), Siggy (a former feral cat), and our goldfish, Fishie. We love them each for their uniqueness and the way in which they enrich our lives.
I look forward to meeting you with your special pet.
