**COVID-19 PRACTICE PROCEDURES**
While many businesses have closed during this unprecedented health crisis, the Animal Hospital of North Dover is doing everything possible to keep our patients, clients, and staff healthy while still being able to provide veterinary services to our community.
Therefore, we ask all clients coming for appointments to park near the front of the hospital and to call us at (732) 370-6369 from their cars to let us know that they have arrived.
A technician will complete the admission process and get a detailed history over the phone. After that, clients will be asked to bring their leashed pet or cat in a carrier to the front door. The client will continue to have the option to have the patient transferred to the technician who will bring the patient into the hospital while the clients will return to their car. Alternatively, as of 7/5/22, one person will be permitted to enter with their pet. The client entering the building MUST REMAIN MASKED (surgical mask or better) FOR THE ENTIRE VISIT - regardless of vaccination status.
After the examination, the veterinarian will call the curbside clients to discuss the findings and get permission for any treatments or tests.
Payment will be obtained for curbside clients preferably over the phone with a credit card.
The patient (+/- client) will be escorted to the front door.
We ask that for technician appointments (nail trims, anal gland expressions, blood draws, etc) the client remail curbside while their pet receives services.
Anyone picking up food or medications will also be asked to call us from the parking lot to arrange payment over the phone, and the product will be brought to them at the front door.
Obviously, the decrease in personal interaction is regrettable and out of all of our comfort zones, however, keeping everyone safe and healthy is our paramount concern. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
